Flamethrower is usually a move used by various characters in certain Nintendo game. The move almost always involves breathing/firing a stream of flame at the opponent.

  • Certain enemies and obstacles, such as the Firebar act as flamethrowers. The Rainbow Ride level from Super Mario 64 also has a fireplace that shoots flames.
  • The Fire Flower doesn't do this normally, but in Super Smash Bros. it can be held for a flamethrower effect which burns and pushes foes away.

  • It has been TM35 in all games since the release of Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire Versions. It is recognised as have a good amount of power with perfect accuracy amongst Trainers.
  • In Super Smash Bros Melee and Brawl, Charizard uses this move in a manner similar to Bowser. Cyndaquill also uses this move in Smash Bros. Melee.
