Flora Reinhold is a character from the Professor Layton series, debuting in Professor Layton and the Curious Village for the Nintendo DS. In the game, Professor Hershel Layton and Luke Triton travel through St. Mystere in search of the "Golden Apple", which according to the will of Baron Augustus Reinhold whoever finds the precious apple will gain what was most dear to him. A series of clues lead them to a tower where they find Flora Reinhold, and upon escaping the collapsing tower Layton looks down at Flora and notices a birthmark in the shape of an apple, indicating that she was the precious treasure mentioned in the will, and that whoever was able to complete his puzzles was a capable enough guardian. So, with that, the three of them leave the town to start more adventures.
Flora wears her hair in a ponytail, held up with a red ribbon. She also has a side fringe. She wears an orange dress, tied with a red bow and a white undershirt. She also wears long, black boots. She is also seen in many disguises. In Professor Layton and the Curious Village, Flora is first seen wearing an orange and yellow hood, with glasses and a green robe. In Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box, she wears the same disguise she wore in Curious Village, but wears a different hood, and sunglasses.
- Professor Layton and the Curious Village (1)
"Flora rigged up this disguise so she could slink around town without being noticed. Just about any of the townsfolk can see through the disguise with a glance, but she's convinced that she is incognito."
- Professor Layton and the Curious Village (2)
"The only daughter of a vastly wealthy family, Flora is the mysterious girl who has been running around the village. She lost her mother as a small child and and was raised by her father, Baron Augustus Reinhold."
- Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box (1)
"The only daughter from a wealthy family, Flora follows Luke and Layton onto the Molentary Express. In her free time, she likes cooking, though most of her efforts in the kitchen have the unfortunate effect of turning stomachs."
- Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box (2)
"Flora must have thought a scarf and sunglasses would be enough to disguise her identity. Of course, anyone who knows her should have recognized her in an instant, but for some strange reason, neither Layton nor Luke saw through her disguise."
