Fomantis(JP) is a species of Pokémon of the series of the same name. It is a Grass Pokémon introduced in the seventh generation in Pokémon Sun and Moon. It evolves into Lurantis starting at level 34 during the day.
Physiology and Behavior
Fomantis is a pink plant Pokémon with leaves as arms and a green bulb on top of its head. It has red eyes and a red stripe down its chest.
Fomantis is generally nocturnal, spending its days asleep with its leaves spread for photosynthesis. To avoid the danger of staying in the same place for multiple days, it travels each night in search of a new spot for photosynthesis. It will attack those who disturb its photosynthesis. Formantis uses photosynthesis to develop the coloration in its next form.
