Hello. I wanted to let you all know some good news. Bentendo from Nintendopedia is moving from that wiki to this Nintendo Wikia and bring 2000 new pages of content with him!
Kirkburn (a Wikia gaming intern) is helping with this move. Duplicate page titles will temporarily be placed in the Merge namespace. These pages are listed on project:merge. Once the transfer is complete, anyone is free to merge those back to the original location, redirect them, or delete them, depending on which version is best (the imported one or the one in the Merge namespace).
Please welcome the Nintendopedians here and help them to work with you on making this number one resource for Nintendo fans.

- Note that some imported pages may have spam problems (the wiki being imported did not have Wikia's spam protection), and so may need cleaning up. Hopefully easy to fix. Kirkburn (talk) 05:30, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
Just to tell you that whilst this wikia was abandoned, I and User:Pokemon DP have been improving this wikia with all our spare time. The new Mario page is to be deleted since there is already one which goes to it's Nintendo Wikia needs. --Vitas 06:48, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
The import is almost complete, so pages listed on project:merge can be merged. Please note that there may be some red links to pages in the old "nintendopedia" namespace since the project namespace on this wiki is just "nintendo" or "project". Please fix these if you see any. Angela

[edit] Which articles should we keep and which should we delete?
I'm sure many of you are debating about which articles we should keep from this wiki and which ones we should delete in favor of the articles at Nintendopedia.org. Well, how about this - if it was directly dumped from Wikipedia, do you think we should automatically get rid of that one?
To see which articles were dumped from Wikipedia, go here!. Plus - I'd only delete the ones that have "merge" in the title.
