Gangplank Galleon
Series Donkey Kong (series)
First game Donkey Kong Country

Gang-plank Galleon is the seventh and last world in the SNES title Donkey Kong Country and only contains one and last boss fight, King K. Rool.

Boss

King K. Rool, the final boss of the game contains two halves, and can be quite difficult.

The boss starts out with King K. Rool falling from the sky onto the ship the battle takes place, the King first attack is throwing his crown at the Kong(s) which exposes his head. You must make the Kongs jump over the deadly crown and jump on his head. The King the then runs to the other side of the ship, which, if you touch him you lose a Kong. On the other side of the ship the King throws his crown again and you must jump on him. He then runs to one side of the ship and back and throws again. Hit him and he runs from one side of the ship to the other and back where he'll throw yet again. Jump on him and he'll jump all the way to the other side of the ship and one wave of cannon balls will fall from the sky and make you lose a Kong. Dodge them and the King will throw his crown jump on him and he'll jump to the other side of the ship which will make to waves of cannon balls come, one from one side of the ship, then one form the other side. Dodge these and jump on the King once he throws his crown at you. Next he'll do the same thing but there'll be three waves of cannon balls, one from one side, then the other, then the other. After that the King falls down and the game gives you false "Kredits", but after the credits there are letters that say: "The End?" and the King gets back up and continues his assault, this time by trying to jump on you. First he takes big jumps to the other side of the ship, and throws his crown, which you'll need to dodge, then jump on the King. Then he'll take big jumps again to one side of the ship, then takes smaller jumps to the other side of the ship, and throws his crown. Jump on him then he'll jump to the other side of the ship with the big jumps, then to the other side with smaller jumps, then to the other side with even smaller jumps. After he does this you can give the King the final blow.
