Gary Richards is a video game designer. Initially he joined Rare on 1992 as a tester, but gradually became the main designer of much of Rare's titles on Nintendo handhelds, including most adaptations of console titles on the Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, and Nintendo DS.
He left Rare in 2012 and worked for several other companies until he joined Playtonic Games in 2017.
