Godzilla: Unleashed is a video game for the Wii and Nintendo DS. Each version works differently. The Wii version of the game is a 3-D brawler where you chose one of 16 of the Godzilla monsters to fight against up to 3 others. So far, only four characters have been announced, including, but not limited to, Godzilla 2000, Megalon, Gigan, and others. In the Nintendo DS version of the game, you go through multiple cel-shaded sidescrolling levels. You are able to chose two monsters to play as at once. Flying monsters will be seen on the top screen, while ground monsters on the bottom.

The monsters

Monster's nameSpecial abilityOther information
Godzilla 2000
It is unknown if the original Godzilla will appear in this game, though since he did in the previous Godzilla fighter, it is highly possible.
Rodan
Rodan is best known for his flying ability, giving him the advantage in certain areas, such as the Mothership (boss fight).
Kiryu
Kiryu is the same as Godzilla, other than being a machine. His ability is the same as King Ghidorah, SpaceGodzilla, Mechagodzilla 2, and Mecha-King Ghidorah, where he floats in the air.
Gigan
He is part of the Alien faction. Gigan appears as he did in Godzilla: Final Wars (a film), having a more upgraded body. He can also warp a short distance, similar to Biollante's digging ability.
Megalon
One of the weaker aliens, although he has an advantage in digging (similar to Mothra Larva's and Baragon's rush, but better). He is almost impossible to fight as Rodan while in the air for this reason. He is best for unlocking Baragon, as the small monster can't hit him.
