Grenade Man

Grenade Man is a character from Mega Man 8. He is one of the eight Robot Masters fought as bosses. Bearing DWN-063 as his serial number, Grenade Man wields the Flash Bombs for his weapon. Rock fights him in Argentina.

Character Description[]

Personality[]

Grenade Man is best described as sadomasochist. He has a real fetish of letting his own explosions hit him just for the thrill of it. Even though he's a good and profitable bomber when it comes to the job, his indiscriminate behavior and obsession for sadomasochism usually prevents him from being able to complete his missions effectively. He enjoys the stimulant of both battle and explosions while disliking rationality.

During his fight, Grenade Man seems to be laughing maniacally. His death line is, "That felt good!", implying he even enjoyed his own dying explosion.

Physical Appearance[]

Grenade Man resembles a walking blue grenade. His head is blue with a grey ponytail that resembles a grenade's pin. He has a pentadactyl hand on his left arm with a right glove. His right arm ends in a launcher that launches his Flash Bombs.

Grenade Man's Weapon[]

Grenade Man uses Flash Bombs for his weapon, and both he and Rock can use them. Grenade Man can also scatter small bombs throughout his battlefield. Rock can only copy the Flash Bombs. With the Flash Bombs in his possession, Rock can launch a small blue bomb with a skull on it. If Grenade Man's version hits something, this can cause landslides. However, Rock can only deal damage with his version.

Battle[]

Grenade Man can attack by firing his Flash Bombs either ahead or into his arena's floor, perform a football tackle, or throw small bombs. Upon losing 65% of his HP, he will cause a cave-in by blasting the floor. This will cause the arena to irregular for the rest of his fight, though his charge attacks become less effectiv due to their inability to scale walls. His weakness is the Thunder Claw.
