Happy Feet Two is a 2011 WiiNintendo DS, and Nintendo 3DS video game based on the film of the same name which is a sequel to the 2006 film that also had a video game.

Gameplay[]

You go through various different levels as Mumble to find his son, Erik. You eventually find him but then have to go save all of the other penguins which are trapped from an avalanche. You are accompanied by Ramón. It is a Music-based game that's all about following a beat. There are also Vibe Spots, which give you extra music notes (which can be used to buy more songs to listen to during gameplay) and Golden Snowflakes, which make music notes rain down from the sky. Disco Fish are items that occasionally appear in game and make you invincible and make it extremely easy to pick up music notes.

Their are four different types of levels:

  • Adventure Levels, which are the most common. Their are three Vibe Spots in every adventure level, and their are occasionally Golden Snowflakes and Disco Fish. In these levels, you walk around finding penguins that will follow you. Once you have enough of these Penguins, you can complete the level. The number of penguins vary.
  • Race Levels, which appear roughly once every chapter, are levels where you race the other playable character (or another person if two people are playing) and slide down ice. There are ramps which build up your boost meter if you hit the specified button at the right time, and obstacles such as rocks and spikes that will slow you down. Using the boost meter makes you go faster. In singleplayer, you win the level if you beat the other playable character.
  • Boss Levels, which appear rarely. In these levels, you press certain buttons at the right time, following the music. If you do this enough you will win. They are essentially rhythm minigames. These levels progress the story the most.
  • In Bonus Levels, which are the least common type of level, you are under a time limit and want to collect the as many music notes as possible, though this is not required. These levels usually have Disco Fish in them.
