Heavy Para-Beetles are beetle-like enemies that have featured throughout the New Super Mario Bros. series. They are simply larger versions of regular Para-Beetles; every time when you jump on one they'll start to fall down slowly.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii[]

Heavy and regular Para-Beetles feature throughout World 7-6.

The Heavy Para-Beetles were first introduced in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. They first appear on World 7-6, where numerous Para-Beetles are scattered throughout the cloudy sky; the player can jump on them to progress further in the level.

New Super Mario Bros. U/Deluxe[]

When the next iteration of New Super Mario Bros. came out for the Nintendo Wii U, that is when the Heavy Para-Beetle returned. The first level that Heavy Para-Beetle is on is Soda Jungle-Secret: Flight of the Para-Beetles.

New Super Luigi U []

Heavy Para-Beetle returned again in 2013 for the Year of Luigi. Heavy Para-Beetle first appears on Soda Jungle-Secret: Para-Beetle Parade.

Super Mario Maker[]

These Para-Beetles aren't exactly Para-Beetles. There're more of a Flying Buzzy Beetles, but they have the same behavior as a Para-Beetle. Just read the following steps:

Grab a Buzzy Beetle
Place the Buzzy Beetle
Grab a Super Mushroom
Place the Super Mushroom on the Buzzy Beetle
Grab a pair of Wings
Place the Wings on the Buzzy Beetle

Now you have a Heavy Para-Beetle. Heavy Para-Beetles still lift you up as if there are Para-Beetles in the Super Mario Maker series only.

Heavy Para-Beetles are also in Super Mario Maker 2.They do the same like in Super Mario Maker.
