Glory of Heracles II: Titan's Downfall (JP) is the second game of the Glory of Heracles. Originally released for the Famicom in 1989 in Japan.

Gameplay[]

A new system such as Party system and Day / Night Time flow has been introduced. Most of the characteristic elements of "Glory of Heracles: Legend of the Fighting Demon's Lair" were abolished and replaced with the general System used in many RPGs at that time. As a result, although it has become mediocre in terms of System, it has instead launched a new unique color of tragic Story development with the original Greek mythology as Motif. The later series basically follows the style of this work.

Story is supposed to be after "Glory of Heracles: Legend of the Fighting Demon's Lair", but there is a part where there is a slight contradiction with the previous work. That's why "Glory of Heracles: The Gods Began to Move" was later released.

There are enemies who make attacks that are not often seen in other RPGs, such as destroying the equipped Sword, Armor, and Shields with a single blow.

Also, when a friend is dead, it will be in the Angel state.

The motif of Character's modeling is "The Wizard of Oz", such as the centaur who wants courage and the bronze goddess who wants the heart.

Plot[]

When Hero Heracles became a legend, Monsters appeared on the ground and afflicted Humans.

One day, a Boy, who lives with his grandmother and two Nana, receives a convocation letter from Queen and learns that there is a dark demon king who is said to be the survivor of Titan in the shadow of the incident. Boy goes on a journey leaving his loved ones to defeat the Demon King, and meets various suffering people everywhere he goes.
