Hidemaro Fujibayashi is a video game designer. Initially he started at Capcom's Flagship studios, where he got involved in a number of games as a planner, including all the portable The Legend of Zelda titles on Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance which were developed by Flagship.

His work on Zelda led him to leave Capcom and join Nintendo, where he succeeded Eiji Aonuma as the main director of the home console Zelda titles. After codirecting Phantom Hourglass, he directed Skyward Sword and Breath of the Wild.
