Jet or Jet the Hawk is a supporting chracter in the Sonic the Hedgehog Franchise. He is often featured in racing games, most recently, Sonic Free Riders: Zero Gravity for the Xbox 360 Kinect and Wii. He is often seen as one of Sonic's rivals (i.e. Shadow, Metal Sonic etc.) but not an enemy like some others. He is also the leader of Team Babylon or the Babylon Rouges in the Sonic Free Riders series. The only other known members of this team are Wave the Swallow and Storm the Albatross. Jet is said to be only 14 years old and is the same height as Sonic or Silver. Also, Jet's original name was intended to be "Wind". Jet's ancestor appears in Sonic and the Black Knight dubbed Sir Lamorak.
