Jody Summer is an F-Zero pilot and racer in the F-Zero series of video games, first appearing in F-Zero X for the Nintendo 64. Beyond that, she is also a fighter pilot for the F-Zero universe's Galactic Federation (presumably not to be confused with the Galactic Federation of the Metroid series, though possibly the same one if they do indeed take place in the same universe).
History
At a young age, she was an intelligent and athletic girl who was able to compete against people twice her age in the Galactic Games, where she managed to get in 4th place at the age of 14. At 18, she climbed the tallest mountain in the solar system, and soon enough became one of the top people of the Galactic Federation.
Later on she decided to even go farther and compete in the F-Zero race, where during this time her father died. In honor of him, she named her ship the White Cat, which her father used to call her.
Being new to racing, she once collided with the Black Shadow, though it was essintially his fault. Captain Falcon saved her before a building would fall on her.
Cameos
Jody appears as a regular trophy in Super Smash Bros. Melee as well as in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. In which both describe a bit of her history and her ties being the Miss Galactic Federation and her reasons to get behind the wheel and race.
