King Kaliente is the second boss of Super Mario Galaxy who resides in Good Egg Galaxy in a large pool of lava. He attacks by shooting three coconuts on fire, followed by one green cocunut that you must hit back. After two hits, his crown falls of and he gets stronger. After defeating him, he explodes into a Power Star, which you bring back to the Comet Observatory. He is seen again in Bowser Jr.'s Lava Reactor, where he is now colored gray and is stronger, also he must be hit several more times. This time, Mario is rewarded with a Grand Star. In Super Mario Galaxy 2 he reappears in the Boss Blitz Galaxy.
