Kirby's Dream Land 3 is Kirby's fifth platformer game for the Super Nintendo. Like Kirby's Dream Land 2 for the Game Boy, Kirby's animal friends could help him out during the game, and more were added since then. Much like the ability mixing system in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, Kirby could get one of his abilities and then get assistance from a friend to create a whole new ability. The game has been released on the Wii's Virtual Console.
[edit] Story
When Kirby and his friend Gooey are fishing on a pleasant, sunny day, a strange black cloud begins to appear over Dream Land. It spews many other smaller black clouds out of itself across the lands. This black cloud was Dark Matter, a well-known Kirby villain today. Kirby and his friends then set off to save Dream Land from Dark Matter.
[edit] Notes
- First appearance of Nago the Pussycat, Chuchu the Slime Octopus, Pitch the Baby Bird, Mine, Pitch's Mother, Nyupun, CeCe, Penelope, Pons and Cons, Acro and Ado.
- Second time King Dedede is possed by Dark Matter. It is also first time "Dark Matter Dedede" appears, where King Dedede uses attacks and movements based on Dark Matter's powers.
