Mario Kart 64
In Mario Kart 64, Koopa Troopa Beach is a beach that a turtle formation rock in the middle of it. This track consists of Sidesteppers, water, boost pads and a shortcut. To get to the shortcut is when you reach the three boost pads you encounter a secret tunnel near one of them use a Mushroom or Star to use the shortcut to the waterfall.
Mario Kart 7
Koopa Beach returns in Mario Kart 7 as a track in the Banana Cup and the first track in the Banana Cup. The changes are the shortcut is now placed differently and the three boost pads that were near the shortcut are no longer there instead the shortcut got placed somewhere higher with a glider and there are more rocks now.
- In Mario Kart 7, the turtle is a rock formation of Koopa Troopa.
- There was a track named Koopa Beach that was originally going to appear in Mario Kart DS and looked a lot like the N64 course but somehow it got replaced by Cheep Cheep Beach. It can still be driven on by using a Action Replay (no textures and codename is nokonoko_course) or a ROM Hack (textures). The game will crash if you fall in the water.
- When using a ROM Hack and using Moon Jump if you go on top of the formation rock you'll flip out for no reason and have to reset the game.
- Cheep Cheep Beach in Mario Kart DS meant to replace Koopa Beach.
