Kosuke Yabuki is an employee of Nintendo. He started working with the company in April 2005[1] as a planner on various projects, until he became the director of Mario Kart 7 and Mario Kart 8.

As Hideki Konno went to smartphone development, Yabuki replaced him as producer of the Mario Kart series, as well as the Nintendo Switch title ARMS.
