Kyurem (キュレム, Kyurem) is a species of Pokémon in the series of the same name. It is a dual-type Dragon/Ice legendary Pokémon that made its first appearance in the fifth generation games Black and White.

Physiology and Behaviour

Kyurem is a large, bipedal dragon that resembles a hunched over dinosaur with various icy protrusions and a rock-like body. Parts of its body appear stunted or broken. It has small stubby arms and large legs. It's tail resembles a plug.

Kyurem is involved in a legend that says it will take people and Pokémon away to be eaten. It's unknown how much credence there is to this legend however.

Pokémon Black	It generates a powerful, freezing energy inside itself, but its body became frozen when the energy leaked out.
Pokémon White	It can produce ultracold air. Its body is frozen.

Game locations

In both Pokémon Black and White Versions, Kyurem can be found in the Giant Chasm. A small puzzle is required, finding a small alke in the middle of the chasm. When it is found, Kyurem will freeze the area and cover it in snow. It can then be found in a cave at the furthest end of the Chasm.
In Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 Versions, Kyurem is a major part of the storyline, forming most of Team Plasma's goals. Kyurem can be fought at Giant Chasm in its White Kyurem or Black Kyurem formes. However it cannot be captured in these formes, instead it must be captured in its normal form later on, once again in Giant Chasm.
