Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures is a video game for the Wii and Nintendo DS that was initially released on June 3, 2008. The game is part of the ongoing Lego series include video games based off of popular properties, with the other ones being based off of Star Wars and Batman. The game includes a total of 60 characters, most notable of which obviously being Dr. Jones himself. The game includes sections from all three of the original movies, meaning it doesn't include anything from the fourth film, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

[edit] Development

Indiana Jones is considered Lucas' second major property after Star Wars, and after all six movies of Star Wars were converted into Lego video games, the developers moved on to Indiana Jones.

The actual game consists of no references to Nazis - thus resulting in the removal of Swastikas that were present in the films. Rather, the enemies in the first and third chapters of the game are just referred to as Germans.

To promote the game, the developers put Lego Indiana Jones in Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga as a playable character(He didn't appear in the Nintendo DS version). In this video game, Han Solo from the Star Wars trilogy (who, like Indiana Jones, is played by Harrison Ford) is an unlockable character.
