Madden NFL 07 is a video game for the Wii, Nintendo GameCube, and Nintendo DS. It was released in 2006, and was published by Electronic Arts. The Wii version was praised by many critics, and won the best traditional sports game of the year from major gaming website Gamespot. The cover athlete is Shaun Alexander, a Seahawks' running back.

[edit] Wii version
As stated above, the Wii version was highly priased by many critics, including Gamespot (8.4/10), IGN (8.5/10), and Gamespy (4.5/10). Despite all of the positive reviews, however, video game magazine EGM gave the game a disappointing 6.5, 6.0, and 4.5.
[edit] Nintendo DS version
Madden NFL 07 on the Nintendo DS is the fourth Madden to appear on the console. It features 3-D gameplay, and similar controls.
[edit] Nintendo GameCube version
The GameCube version of Madden NFL 07 has the same standard gameplay that made the series popular. Overall, however, the GameCube version has been getting worse (but not bad) reviews than the Wii version. This version of Madden is probably the last version to be created on the GameCube.
[edit] Game Boy Advance version
Much like the GameCube version, the Game Boy Advance's version is probably the last to appear on the handheld.
