[edit] Cover athlete

The cover athlete, Brett Favre, was revelaed on April 24, 2008 via David Letterman. EA confirmed that, despite the fact that Brett had tranferred to the New York Jets, he would wear his Packers jersey. However, on launch day, EA put downloadable covers of Favre on the internet that players could print off and place in the cover's jacket. The image of Brett on the Wii version of the game is different from every other version because of the All-Play title.
