Magnus (マグナ Maguna, "Magna") is a character in the game Kid Icarus: Uprising. It is said that he is the strongest of the human race, and he demonstrates this be wielding a massive sword which he is able to swing with ease. Though much of his history is shrouded in mystery, it is known that he and Dark Lord Gaol at one time were close though now he is determined to stop the Dark Lord's evil-doing. Magnus fights alongside Pit in Chapter 2 - Magnus and The Dark Lord, and in Chapter 18 - The Ring Of Chaos, he is a playable character for a short time. Finally, he appears with Gaol in Chapter 24 - The Three Trials as Dyntos' second trial for Pit.
