Makoto Miyanaga is a graphic designer who works at Nintendo. He was originally hired in 1995 as an assistant debugger, and moved to course design with Super Mario 64, where he designed the pyramid of Shifting Sand Land and The Princess's Secret Slide. He also designed the Hyrule Field of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and worked on other games such as Pikmin.

He was an assistant director for Eiji Aonuma in Twilight Princess, and eventually became an assistant producer of the Zelda series.
