Mario Strikers Charged is the sequel to Super Mario Strikers for the GameCube. It is a multiplayer game for the Wii that uses Wi-Fi. It features 12 Mario characters as captains and 8 characters as sidekicks for your team.

There are three modes of play: Domination Mode, Road to the Striker Cup, and Striker Challenges. Domination Mode is a simple, pick-up-and-play option; Road to the Striker Cup is the longer, tournament- or single-player mode; and Striker Challenges is a series of missions or simple challenges designed to practice one's skills.

The characters have four statistics: Movement, Shooting, Passing, and Defense.

Overall, the visual style and graphics are similar to the GameCube version, though with improved gameplay.
