Maxis is a company that is most notable for there creation of The Sims on the computer, and Sim City on the SNES. They mostly made many Sims games for computers, consoles, and handhelds. It was bought by EA in 1997. During the 2010s, the studio was reformed into The Sims Studio and a part of EA mobile studios.
