Medal of Honor: Frontline was the first game in the Medal of Honor series to be released on a Nintendo console. It is based on the events of World War II as where all the missions you must complete to beat the game were actually real missions. The GameCube and Xbox versions also featured a multiplayer mode while the PlayStation 2 port lacked.
Six missions with at least 2 levels in each-all based on real World War II events.
Fifteen WWII weapons, including the Panzershreck rocket launcher, MG42 mounted machine gun, and Browning Automatic Rifle.
The game features a local multiplayer mode for up to 4 players.
Next to normal games, reviews of this game got pretty good scores. IGN stated that while the multiplayer is't all that good and the graphics are "passable", the sound got a 9.0 rating. IGN gave it an overall rating of 7.9 (Good) while GameSpot gave it a 8.4 rating.
