Metroid Prime: Federation Force is a Metroid spin-off game for the Nintendo 3DS. It was revealed at the Nintendo World Championships 2015 as "Blast Ball" but was later announced during E3 2015 to be Metroid Prime: Federation Force.

It is a cooperative first-person shooter developed by Next Level Games and is released in 2016.

This game is playable on all 3DS models.

Blast Ball

Blast Ball is additional multiplayer mode where players try to shoot a ball into the other side's goal like soccer. Shooting opposing players will damage and then disable them. The goal gets smaller with each successful goal.

The game has received mainly mixed reviews.
