Neptune is a Robot Master created by Dr. Wily. He was first seen in Mega Man V as one of the games 8 Robot Master Stardroids.
True to his piscine design, Neptune swims very well. Neptune's favourite foods are typically salty. His Special Weapon, the Salt Water, has him fire corrosive fluids. His weakness is the Spark Chaser.
Battle[]
During his battle, Neptune leaps into the sky and drops down to smash Mega Man. This can be avoided by sliding beneath him during his jump. His other two attacks depend on his distance to where Mega Man is standing.
If Mega Man and his foe have enough distance between their locations, Neptune will start jumping several times to cause an earthquake that makes several salty water droplets fall from the ceiling.
If Neptune and Mega Man are close, he will attack by throwing a blob of Salt Water that splits into three small drops of water that deal the same damage the big blob deals.
Trivia[]
- The reason why Neptune is weak to the Spark Chaser could be that water and electricity do not mix very well. This may also be the reason why Jupiter is vulnerable to the Bubble Bomb.
