Next Level Games is an independent video games studio in Canada. It is best known for developing Super Mario Strikers for the GameCube and its sequel, Mario Strikers Charged for the Wii.

History

Next Level Games opened their doors in 2002. Many of the staff had come from Black Box Games. They're known as the first North American developers to ever to make a Super Mario video game, that one being Super Mario Strikers. The company itself has won a multitude of awards and was even listed as the number one employer in the British Columbia province.

In October of 2008 it was confirmed by IGN that the long-rumored Punch-Out!! (Wii), which was officially announced a day earlier, was currently being developed Next Level Games. In January 2014, the studio announced it would work with Nintendo exclusively.
