NintenDiego is a San Diego based Nintendo gaming group that meets both in person, through social events and tournaments, and also has online tournaments and friendly play. Their "Miit Ups" focus on both Nintendo 3DS and Wii U games.
NintenDiego strives to connect Nintendo fans all throughout San Diego area through tournaments, socializing and enjoying the amazing things San Diego county has to offer. They have had the pleasure of joining with many other community gaming groups and have partnered with local game stores such a GameStop for many midnight releases - notably Pokemon and Super Smash Bros. for 3DS and Wii U. NintenDiego has also partnered with StreetPass groups, such as StreetPass OC for events such a Mario Kart 8 online tournaments.
NintenDiego's events are open to newcomers and welcome new members always. The group holds events themed for many popular titles, such as 3DS Pokemon games, Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros. and more, but always places an emphasis on community and expressing the great social interactions Nintendo games promote organically already. They keep up with Nintendo news, as well as community information for their events through their social media pages, as well as their website.
