This is why you don't trust translators - they never get anything right! Anyway, Capcom has just confirmed that Dead Rising: Chop Til You Drop for the Wii is in fact not a port whatsoever, albeit will feature some similarities. According to them, it's been built from the ground up! Huzzah!
