Nintendo Minute was a Youtube series presented to Nintendo's YouTube channel. A new episode airs every Friday. It is hosted by Kit Ellis and Krysta Yang regularly showcasing new and upcoming games as well as Nintendo's presence at events. From 2013 to 2021, the series has had over 400 episodes.

In the earlier episodes of Nintendo Minute, the logo had a red bolded line and triangle that stretched out to reveal the words "Nintendo Minute" in dark gold. This was back in 2013.

In 2016, the line and triangle stayed, but rather than the shape expanding on its own, mii versions of Kit and Krysta grabbed either side and stretched it out manually. The "Nintendo Minute" words are now dark red with a Mario Bros. level map in the same color. A subtitle named "with Kit and Krysta" has been added as well.

In 2017, there is now a Nintendo Minute jingle that plays throughout the entire episode of Nintendo Minute. The animation has changed as well, with a close-up image of Mario bashing a block, and the logo zooms out to reveal the Nintendo Minute logo. It is now a dark red speech bubble with the words "Nintendo Minute" now in bolded white bubble letters. The Super Mario Bros. level map icon stayed, and underneath the red box, it says, "with Kit and Krysta" in the white section.

In 2019-2021, the theme song is louder with a higher pitch, and the logo is slightly more vibrant.

Overview[]

The weekly show is hosted by the two hosts since the series started airing in Spring 2013. The early episodes were more sporadic, often lining up with major Nintendo releases or conventions. The show's format changes between episodes especially as the show became more regular. Sometimes, they showed gameplay previews, while other times they did unboxing for releasing Nintendo products and during events like E3 or PAX, they would do interviews with Nintendo people and developers. During offweeks, the hosts try challenges with released Nintendo titles and compete in challenges related with Nintendo. The show also tries to cover the Nintendo fan community, regularly inviting Nintendo Youtubers, interacting with the commenters and interacting with Nintendo fans at convention.

In later episodes, the hosts have been more consistent with their videos, posting mostly every week 1 video.

After the COVID-19 pandemic, Kit and Krysta have occasionally uploaded videos of them playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

As of December 17, 2021, the series has ended, due to the closing of Nintendo's San Francisco office.

As of late December 2022, all episodes of Nintendo Minute have been privated.

Jingle[]

As of 2018, Nintendo Minute has a theme song. It is quieter in the earlier episodes, but recently it got louder and higher-pitched.

Slogan[]

The slogan, stated at the end of every episode, is, 'Nintendo Minute is never a minute!", mostly stated by Kit.

Ending Song[]

Plays at the end of every Nintendo Minute episode since "Unboxing all LEGO Mario sets coming August 1", posted on June 16.

It is composed by Dale North, who composed many of the Nintendo Minute songs.

Nintendo Minute is never a minute (Minute).

Sit down, relax, because time has no limit (Limit).

Kit and Krysta are having so much fun,

Hanging out, playing games

'Til it's time to run

Now we're done.
