The Nintendo Playing Guide was a guide that came packaged with playing cards produced by Nintendo. Nintendo, who started manufacturing cards in 1889, didn't start equipping their decks with the guide until 1964. The guide assisted players by explaining how to perform better at games such as bridge, poker and blackjack. The playing guide expanded the boxes that they came in, either by being placed next to the cards or in front or behind the cards. All of the playing guides were labeled as P.G.
