EShop Cards

Nintendo eShop cards are the successor to the Nintendo Points Cards of the 7th generation. Instead of using a new currency like the points cards, they use virtual money, like the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Special Versions

Special edition eShop Cards have been made, where they come with a special AR Card which can be used in one of the free AR Camera applications. Currently, the US has only gotten the Mario, Goomba, and Peach cards, though Japan also has gotten Luigi, Bowser, Koopa Troopa, and an Animal Crossing and Pikmin themed set.
