A Paragoomba is an enemy found in the Mario series of games. They are Goombas with wings that, like Paratroopas, they bounce up and down. If they get to close to a ledge they fall down, thus defeating themselves. They first appeared in the Nintendo Entertainment System video game Super Mario Bros. 3, and would later appear in other Mario games as well. Their first playable appearance was in Mario Superstar Baseball for the Nintendo GameCube and later Mario Super Sluggers for the Wii. They made their 3D platformer debut in Super Mario Galaxy 2. When stomped on, they turn into normal Goombas.
