Pascal(JP) is the otter found in Animal Crossing introduced in Wild World. He gives out pirate furniture if in return the player give him scallops, sea shells and such. Players can find him on a bridge or anywhere near water. After he and the player have received their respective items he will jump into the sea and float away. He wears a beige hat, blue shorts and wears a shell around his neck.
Animal Crossing series
On a random weekday from 6AM -12AM, Pascal will appear by the river's mouth. If the player listens to one of his thoughts, he will give pirate-themed furniture before diving into the sea.
He is also involved with the Golden Axe event, where he'll give the player the Golden Axe or a picture of himself and Kaitlin.
Similar to Wild World, he appears on a random weekday from 6AM to 12AM on one of the town's bridges. After he gives a bit of philosophy. If the player gives him a scallop, he gives a piece of pirate-themed furniture before diving into the river. As he goes down the river, fish will be scared away.
Upon the player finding a scallop in their town, Pascal may appear behind the player. He'll ask for that scallop and if given, he will give the player a piece of furniture from the Pirate Theme and some philosophy. He will not appear more than once a day or if the player has their pockets full. After he is fed, Pascal swims slowly along the southern coast and can be seen eating that scallop.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
- "A sea otter in a knit cap. He'll spout philosophy seemingly littered with hidden meanings: "People study what can and can't be done, but I think they're missing the point, maaannn." He comes and goes via the sea, diving in with perfect form. It's really up to you to decide whether Pascal's ramblings are the results of deep thought or too much time spent chatting with scallops."
Super Smash Bros. for Wii U
- "People say there are always other fish in the sea, but, maaan, there are giant squids in there too." That's Pascal, ever the marine philosopher. He appears when a scallop is found, dispensing his philosophical thoughts and trading furniture for the scallop.
