Phanpy (JP) is a species of Pokémon in the series of the same name. It is a Ground Pokémon that made its first appearance in the second generation games Gold and Silver. It evolves into Donphan starting at level 25.

Pokémon Emerald Phanpy's big ears serve as broad fans. When it becomes hot, it flaps the ears busily to cool down. Even the young are very strong.
