Piccolo is a note-shaped pixl in Super Paper Mario that can play music fitting to the character you are currently using, healing any status ailment if the music successfully ends. He can play music in front of mysterious blocks that has him on it.Also, as long as he is the selected Pixl, sound effects such as jumping, stomping on enemies or hitting blocks will be replaced with those from the original Super Mario Bros.

He is very useful during the Underchomp fight as he can put them to sleep. He is obtained at the Random House in Flopside after getting a key from Merlee as a reward for completing a task she had given the player. Piccolo is named after an instrument of the same name.
