Tepig - Pignite (#499) - Emboar
Series Pokémon series
First appearance Pokémon Black and White
Designed by Game Freak

Pignite (チャオブー, Chaoboo) is a species of Pokémon in the series of the same name. It is a dual-type Fire/Fighting Pokémon that made its first appearance in the fifth generation games Pokémon Black and White.

Physiology and Behaviour

Pignite is a pig-like bipedal Pokémon that sports orange, black, and yellow coloration. Fangs protrude from the lower jaw of its wide mouth, and its black, tapered ears point straight upwards. The black coloration from there extends down to its nose, which, like its pre-evolution Tepig, is a red snout. Black coloration encompasses the shoulders, sides, and underbelly of Pignite, which could be said to resemble the garb of a wrestler of some sort. Gold-colored, swirling features adorn its chest on the black pattern, like buttons on a pair of dungarees, and the pattern forms spiky shapes on the lower underbelly. The forelimbs of Pignite have glove-like patterns, with gold bands at the "wrists" and black at the tips of the "hands", which have two claws. Its legs are small with a single nailed toe, and its curled, wiry black tail is tipped with a puffy feature.
