Olimar performing Pikmin Chain.
Pikmin Chain is a move that Pikmin and Olimar can perform in Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii. The move is their recovery move, and it will be more successful if Olimar has plucked more Pikmin from the ground to use on the battlefield.
When used, all of the Pikmin in your group will hook together and will jump with all of their might to get back up to the ledge. The less Pikmin you have, the less chance you have at having a successful recovery.
The move will not reappear in it's sequel Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U due to Olimar's limit of 3 Pikmin instead of 6. The new move Winged Pikmin will work reversely in which if Olimar has less Pikmin he can recover better.
Origin
This is the only Pikmin & Olimar move that does not come from the Pikmin Series.
