Pokémon Go is a mobile title in the Pokémon series developed by Niantic. The game has players go out in the real world and find Pokémon using the GPS and battle with them in a simplified version of the main games' combat.

The game uses the player's location and data to supply what Pokémon and Pokéspots are in the player's vicinity. The players have to travel in the real world. Once, the player comes close to a Pokémon, they can select it and attempt to catch it. Using the touchscreen, the player swipes the screen in time with the circle shrinking repeatedly around the Pokéball.

Starter Pokémon

At the start of the game, the player will get a choice of 3 Pokémon; Charmander, Squirtle and Bulbasaur. Additionally, the player can get Pikachu if they turn around and leave the area. This first encounter serves as a tutorial

Pokéspots are places where you get items such as Pokéballs and potions. In order to get these items you must spin the circular picture after accessing the Pokéstop.

Pokémon Go Plus

Pokémon Go Plus is an accessory for the game that will automatically detect Pokémon the player passes by and allow the Pokémon to be caught with the press of a button.
