Pokémon Yellow is a remake of the multi-million selling Game Boy video games Pokémon Red and Blue. To mimic the hit TV show, rather than you being able to choose from three different starter Pokémon (which consists of Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle), there is already only one more Pokémon left, that one being Pikachu. While your character always gets Pikachu, your rival will always obtain Eevee. Another difference between this game and its predacessors is that your Pikachu will follow you in the overworld throughout the game.
Of course, your goal in this game is the same as in any other famed Pokemon video game...to defeat Team Rocket and become a Pokemon Master! There are the same gyms and Gym Leaders as in the Red and Blue versions.
