Porcu-Puffers, commonly referred to as Porcupuffers are enemies that first appeared in the SNES game Super Mario World. They are big, purple Cheep-Cheeps. Mario or Luigi could Spin Jump to ride on them or use Yoshi in Super Mario World. In that game, they could be found in the secret level on top of the Vanilla Dome, in a secret level in the Cookie Mountain, and in a secret area in Chocolate Island 1.

Appearances[]

Porcu-Puffers can be found again in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. In this game, they appear in World 4, World 6, and World 9. They attack just like a Spike Bass.

Porcu-Puffers make another appearance in Super Mario 3D Land. In this game they swim back and forth in an attempt to hurt Mario. In Level 6-1, they also break parts of the bridge.

Porcu-Puffers also appear in New Super Mario Bros. 2, New Super Mario Bros. U, and New Super Luigi U. They function indentically to how they did in New Super Mario Bros. Wii.

Porcu-Puffers appear in a single level in Super Mario 3D World, functioning the same as they did in Super Mario 3D Land.

Porcu-Puffers also appear in Super Mario Maker 2 in the Super Mario 3D World style. In this game, they actively chase after Mario.
