Proffessor E. Gadd made his first apperance in the game Luigi's Mansion. Unlike most new characters in the Mario Series, Professor E. Gadd has gotten popular among fans. In the games, he creates gadgets to help whom ever wields the item. His first device that was shown in a game is the Poltergust 3000, a ghost sucking vacuum. Other notable gadgets include FLUDD, the Magic Paintbrush, a Time Machine, Stuffwell, Starbeans Cafe, many "Gaddgets" in Mario Party Advance, and many more.
