Physiology and Behaviour

Appearances

Main Pokémon games

Pupitar first appeared in Pokémon Gold and Silver where it was the evolved form of a Larvitar. It evolves into a Tyranitar at level 55. In Pokémon Colosseum, Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, and Pokémon Emerald, the player could receive a Pupitar only from a trade with Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen or Pokémon XD. In those games, the player can get Pupitar by evolving a Larvitar, which can be found in Seavault Canyon, or for Pokémon XD, trading Wooper with Duking in Pyrite Town.
