Risa Tabata is a Nintendo employee and former coordinator at Nintendo SPD Group 3. She joined Nintendo in April 2001 as a coordinator with external companies like Retro Studios under Kensuke Tanabe, as well as an assistant producer of various titles. She has worked on the Metroid Prime, Donkey Kong, Chibi-Robo and Dillon series, among other games.

In Game & Wario, she assisted on the development of the games "ASHLEY" and "ISLANDS" along with Tanabe.
