Robot Series
The Robot Series is a series of games on the Nintendo Entertainment System made specially for use with R.O.B.. The series was extremely brief, and only consisted of two games; Gyromite and Stack-Up, both released as launch titles on October 18, 1985.

Series Description

The series consists of games that make use of the R.O.B., but the series was very short-lived as the R.O.B. was ultimately discontinued, as it was only introduced as a gimmick so that the NES would seem more like a toy than a video game system, in hopes that the system would revive the failing video game industry. It is unlikely that this series would have been carried on even if the R.O.B. was used in later games, as the whole "Series" system was scrapped along with the "Black Box" box art style.
