Rolf is a playable character in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. He can execute a powerful Triangle Attack with his brothers Oscar and Boyd if they can both use Bows. In Path of Radiance, he first appears in Chapter 9 as a level 1 Archer. In Radiant Dawn, he joins the party in the Prologue of Part 3 as a level 1 Sniper. It is later discovered that he is only the half-brother of Oscar and Boyd.
It is revealed that Shinon both trained Rolf and made his bow.
