Rowlet is a Grass / Flying Pokémon of the franchise of the same name. It is one of the 3 starter Pokémon in seventh generation games, Pokémon Sun and Moon. It evolves into Dartrix.

Physiology and Behavior

Rowlet is a small round brown owl. It has a white plume around its face and on its lower body. The light brown down covers most of the upper body including the wings. It has a pair of leaves on its chest that resemble a bowtie. There are also leaves on the inside of its wings and as its tail. In the center of its face is a large beak with the upper part being white and bigger and the lower small part being orange. It has large black eyes with white pupils. It has two orange two-toed feet.

Rowlet is capable of rotating its head 180° horizontally and vertically. It also able to fly silently capable of attacking prey without them noticing and unleashing a flurry of kicks and razor-sharp leaves. It is capable of seeing in the dark and has a habit of turning its head in battle to receive instructions.
